Routine filter care helps maintain water flow and protects the circulation pump. Clean the mesh strainer weekly and replace the paper filter about once a month, or sooner if it is visibly dirty or water flow decreases.

Before you begin: Have a clean replacement filter available for the monthly filter change. Turn off the cold side before removing the strainer or filter.

Weekly: Clean the mesh strainer

1. Turn off the cold side.
2. Remove the suction cover inside the cold plunge.
3. Take out the mesh strainer beneath the cover.
4. Rinse away debris and inspect the mesh for damage.
5. Reinstall the strainer and suction cover securely.

Monthly: Replace the paper filter

1. Turn off the cold side.
2. Open the filter housing and remove the used paper filter.
3. Insert the replacement filter, making sure it is seated correctly.
4. Reinstall the housing lid and tighten it by hand.
5. Turn the cold side back on and confirm that water is circulating.

Important: Clean the mesh strainer. Do not replace it during routine maintenance. Never run the cold side without the mesh strainer and paper filter installed. A clogged strainer or filter can restrict flow and strain the circulation pump.
